Can you end a sentence with itself?

This is a tricky one! You can't technically end a sentence with "itself" in the way you're thinking.

Here's why:

* "Itself" is a reflexive pronoun. It refers back to the subject of the sentence. For example, "The dog licked itself."

* Sentences need a subject and a verb. "Itself" can't act as a verb.

So, while you can use "itself" in a sentence, it can't stand alone as the final word.
