What are the 3 conjunctions?

There isn't a set list of "the 3 conjunctions" because there are many different types of conjunctions in English. However, we can categorize them into three main groups:

1. Coordinating Conjunctions: These connect words, phrases, or clauses of equal grammatical rank. The most common coordinating conjunctions are FANBOYS:

* For

* And

* Nor

* But

* Or

* Yet

* So

2. Subordinating Conjunctions: These connect a dependent clause to an independent clause. Examples include:

* After, although, as, as if, as long as, as soon as, because, before, even if, even though, if, in order that, since, so that, though, unless, until, when, whenever, where, wherever, while.

3. Correlative Conjunctions: These are pairs of conjunctions that connect words, phrases, or clauses that are grammatically parallel. Examples include:

* Both...and

* Either...or

* Neither...nor

* Not only...but also

* Whether...or

So, there's no specific "3 conjunctions", but these three categories encompass the most common types of conjunctions in the English language.
