What type of noun is production?

"Production" can be either a common noun or an abstract noun, depending on the context.

Common noun: When it refers to the process of creating or making something, it's a common noun. For example:

* "The factory increased its production of cars."

* "We had a great deal of production problems this month."

Abstract noun: When it refers to the result of the process, it's an abstract noun. For example:

In both cases, "production" is a singular noun.
