What language do the minions speak?

The Minions don't speak a real language. They speak a made-up language called Minionese. It's a mix of sounds and gibberish that's meant to be funny and nonsensical.

It's often described as a combination of:

* English: You can sometimes hear English words mixed in, but often distorted.

* French: Some sounds and sentence structure seem to be inspired by French.

* Italian: The language has a playful, almost Italian feel to it.

* Spanish: There are some Spanish influences, especially in their pronunciation.

* Other languages: There are also elements of German, Russian, and even Japanese that appear in Minionese.

Even though it's not a real language, it's become incredibly popular, with fans creating their own translations and even trying to learn it!
