What is soon in the parts of speech?

"Soon" is an adverb.

Here's why:

* It modifies a verb: It tells us *when* something will happen. For example: "I will see you soon."

* It can also modify adjectives or other adverbs: "She is soon to be a mother." (modifies adjective "soon") "He arrived very soon." (modifies adverb "very")
