What part of speech is frumious?

"Frumious" is an adjective.

It was coined by Lewis Carroll in his poem "Jabberwocky" as a nonsensical but descriptive word. Although it doesn't have a real definition, it functions as an adjective in the phrase "frumious Bandersnatch".
