What part of speech is good?

"Good" can be a few different parts of speech depending on its context:

* Adjective: Describes a noun.

* Example: "She has a good heart."

* Adverb: Modifies a verb, adjective, or another adverb.

* Example: "He did the job good." (This is more informal and sometimes considered grammatically incorrect. "He did the job well" is preferred.)

* Noun: Refers to something good, often a person or a thing.

* Example: "The good always triumphs in the end."

* Interjection: Expresses a sudden emotion.

* Example: "Good! I won!"

To determine the part of speech, look at how it's used in the sentence.
