How can you know the gender of a word in English?

English doesn't have grammatical gender like many other languages. So, you don't need to worry about figuring out the gender of a word to use it correctly!

Here's why:

* No grammatical gender: Unlike languages like Spanish, French, or German, English doesn't assign genders to nouns. This means there are no masculine, feminine, or neuter nouns.

* Pronoun agreement: The only time gender matters is when using pronouns (he/she/it) to refer to a person. You use the pronoun that matches the person's biological sex.

* No articles: English doesn't have different articles (like "the" or "a") based on gender, like some languages do.

So, in English, you can simply use words without needing to know their gender.
