What is the meaning of biblia?

"Biblia" is the Latin word for "books" or "writings." It is the origin of the word "Bible" which refers to the collection of sacred texts considered to be the word of God by Christians and Jews.

The word "biblia" itself is a plural form of the Greek word "biblion" (βιβλίον), which referred to a book made from papyrus or parchment.

So, while "biblia" literally means "books," it has come to specifically refer to the Bible, a collection of books held sacred by many religious groups.
