As an adjective:
* The twins look alike, even though they have different personalities.

As a conjunction:

* The restaurant serves both vegetarian and meat dishes alike.
* Alike the sun and the moon, they illuminate the world in different ways.
As an adverb:
* The twins dressed alike for their birthday party.
* The two friends reacted alike to the news, both expressing shock and disbelief.
* Everyone in the room looked alike, as if they were all wearing the same uniform.
Note: "Alike" is usually used to compare two or more things. It can also be used to emphasize a similarity between something and a group of things.
