Who made the Chinese language?

It's not accurate to say that anyone "made" the Chinese language. It's evolved over thousands of years, much like any other language.

Here's a more accurate way to think about it:

* Origins: The Chinese language has roots in the ancient Chinese civilization, dating back to at least the Shang dynasty (1600-1046 BCE). The earliest known written records, carved on oracle bones, are evidence of this.

* Development: Over centuries, the language has evolved through natural processes of language change:

* New words: New concepts, technologies, and social changes have led to the creation of new words.

* Sound changes: Pronunciation shifts over time.

* Grammatical changes: Changes in how words are put together to form sentences.

* Standardization: While the language evolved organically, there have been efforts to standardize it throughout history. The most significant of these was the "vernacularization" of Classical Chinese in the 19th and 20th centuries, which resulted in the modern standard Chinese language.

Therefore, it's more accurate to say that the Chinese language was developed and shaped by generations of speakers rather than "made" by a single person or group.
