How do you say we are in sign language?

The sign for "we" in American Sign Language (ASL) is made by:

1. Start with your dominant hand in a "5" handshape, fingers extended and spread.

2. Place the "5" handshape on your chest, palm facing inward.

3. Move the hand slightly forward and outward, as if pushing away from your chest.

The sign for "are" is a simple "B" handshape, with the palm facing the signer, moved slightly forward.

The sign for "in" is made by bringing the index finger of your dominant hand, pointing forward, to your chest, then moving it slightly forward and outward.

To sign "we are in," you would sign the three individual signs in sequence.

It's important to note that sign language varies from region to region and can be influenced by local dialects. If you are learning sign language, be sure to consult with a qualified instructor to ensure you are using the correct signs for your region.
