What are the lanuages spoken in Vietnam?

The official language of Vietnam is Vietnamese. It is a Sino-Tibetan language spoken by the vast majority of the population.

However, there are also 54 officially recognized ethnic groups in Vietnam, each with their own unique language or dialect. Some of the most prominent minority languages include:

* Muong: Spoken by the Muong people, closely related to Vietnamese.

* Thai: Spoken by various Thai groups, including the Tay, Nung, and Thai.

* Hmong: Spoken by the Hmong people, a group with a large diaspora.

* Khmer: Spoken by the Khmer people, primarily in the Mekong Delta region.

* Cham: Spoken by the Cham people, an ancient group with a distinct culture.

While Vietnamese is the dominant language, many ethnic minority languages continue to be spoken and preserved, adding to the rich linguistic diversity of Vietnam.
